The Blue Lion sits at the crossroads of the lovely village of Cynwyd which nestles between the towns of Corwen and Bala in beautiful North Wales. It’s an old listed building which we have very tastefully renovated to accommodate the old values of a proper local pub and also a quiet, intimate place where you can sit and enjoy a delicious meal prepared by their award-winning chef.

Dining
The menu changes regularly and includes a variety of dishes from finer dining options to traditional home-cooked classics. As all their food is sourced locally and prepared freshly, there may be some variance in availability. Menus are complimented with an array of local ales, national beers, wines and spirits.
This is a pet-friendly hotel. There is limited availability for their rooms for pets, which are offered on a first come, first served, basis.
