The Blue Boar Inn represents the best of an Old English Country Pub - where traditional values and atmosphere still survive. The oldest part of The Blue Boar dates from the early 1600's and records show that it has been an ale house since that time. If you visit the bar you can see the photos!
The glass covered well in the restaurant bar is some 35 feet deep and its pure water has been used in the brewing process in the past. It's now the home of a family of koi carp.
Cooler Autumn days bring life to the four open fires in the bar and restaurant areas, whereas the sunshine of spring offers the opportunity to relax outside in the patio garden and enjoy the extensive views towards the Cotswold Hills.

The hotel offers double rooms and family rooms which can accommodate two adults, one child over 12 years plus one child 2 -12 years.
Dining
The Blue Boar inn's menus are all about proper pub food, although they do add in something a bit different to encourage new tastes and experiences.There are traditional favourites on the menu - although the chef is constantly improving on their flavour and presentation. The variety comes from the specials, where they use local produce - game in particular - to best effect.
