The Rob Roy Hotel is wonderfully situated in the idyllic countryside at the gateway to the glorious Trossachs and is set within Scotland’s first National Park.
The hotel is a short stroll along the banks of the Forth River to the picturesque village of Aberfoyle where you will find Scottish made arts, crafts and clothing, and three visitor centres. The splendours of Loch Katrine, Callender, Historic Stirling and Loch Lomond are all within easy striking distance, and the hotel is an ideal centre for touring the Trossachs, Perthshire and the Highlands.
Accommodation
The Rob Roy Hotel bedrooms are all tastefully decorated with private en-suite facilities, mostly showers, LCD television, tea/coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi. As well as having twin and double rooms they also have family rooms which can sleep up to 3 people.
There are also two rooms which are equipped for disabled persons.
The majority of rooms are on the ground floor and there is lift access to all rooms on the first floor.
Dining
The Thistle Bar offers a relaxed informal atmosphere with a well-stocked gantry of spirits and special whiskies. In addition, they have old favourites on tap and can offer a selection of non-alcoholic refreshments.
Freshly produced food is available throughout the day from the Bar Menu.
Tartan Tea Room
The Tartan Tea Room offers a relaxing environment and is the perfect setting for food being served throughout the day. The chefs use the freshest of locally sourced produce and have created a variety of menu options to cater for all palates.
The restaurant is open daily.
This is a pet-friendly hotel. There is limited availability for their rooms for pets, which are offered on a first come, first served, basis.
