There are many attractions, family days out and things to do within easy driving distance of Ludlow. Beautiful Shropshire and the neighbouring counties offer stately homes, the fascinating Ironbridge Gorge, medieval castles and adventure-packed days and the Severn Valley Railway.
Accommodation
Each of Fishmore Hall's sumptuous bedrooms has been individually styled to make it as comfortable and luxurious as possible. Light and spacious, most have views through huge sash windows across Ludlow and Shropshire's rolling countryside. The hotel has gone to town on the bathrooms, with huge walk-in showers, double-ended baths, wetrooms and waterfall shower heads. Fishmore Hall has a lift to both floors and the ground floor suite is specially designed to suit less able guests with wide doorways and a spacious shower room.
Dining
There can't be many views to rival the one from the restaurant at Fishmore Hall. Through large French windows or from the terrace on warm days, you can look out over lush green fields towards Clee Hill and the Shropshire landscape. Inside, some of the finest dining in Ludlow - from traditional Shropshire breakfasts to a superb Shropshire Tasting Menu with the very best seasonal dishes.
There is also a Bistro menu available from 12 noon until 8 pm.
Leisure
Nestled in the garden is a new Spa facility. It comprises of four treatment rooms, which combine to create two couples rooms, a steam room and sauna, as well as an outdoor Cedar Wellness Hot Tub and oversized hammock on the decking, both overlooking the fields and the Shropshire hills. There is ample relaxation space and the outdoor bucket and monsoon drench shower provides a refreshing and revitalising experience.
This is a pet friendly hotel. There is limited availability on their rooms for pets and are offered on a first come, first served basis.
